From 15 – 17th June 2017, the city of Paris is set to thrive as the world’s leading tech hub, as thousands of emerging startups and global businesses descend upon the Capital to celebrate the second edition of VivaTech: The Rendezvous For Game Changers.
VivaTech exists to celebrate innovation; it is one of the world’s largest organisations for tech-lovers, innovators, entrepreneurs and pioneers of the future. With event preparations well underway, VivaTech has begun laying the foundations for its global attendees to unite and transform today’s businesses and society, for tomorrow.
Open-innovation challenges for ambitious start-ups reaches over 5,000 registrations
In partnership with VivaTech – 100 free, open-innovation challenges have been organised for aspiring start-ups, held by top business leaders spanning major industries and sectors
To date, more than 5,000 start-ups have registered, of which 55% will travel from across the globe
Of those registered, 1,000 start-ups will be awarded a stand at one of the 20 open-innovation “Labs”,hosted by VivaTech’s Platinum Partners

This year’s event will include 20 thematic “Labs”, designed to encourage co-working and open innovation, whilst enabling start-ups the opportunity to boost their own growth
VivaTech will bring together more than 500 speakers from around the world to debate and discuss the impact of digital technologies on a diverse range of industry sectors:
On the main stage, inspiring speakers will share their vision for tomorrow, among whom include Isabelle Kocher (CEO Engie), Gillian Tans (CEO Booking.com), Yuanquing Yang (Chairman & CEO, Lenovo), Jeff Immelt (Chairman & CEO, GE), David Kenny (Senior Vice President, IBM Watson & IBM Cloud), Eric Schmidt (Executive Chairman, Alphabet Inc), Tim Armstrong (CEO, AOL), Daniel Zhang, (CEO, Alibaba), Bertrand Piccard (Chairman SolarImpulse Foundation), John Collison (Cofounder & president, Stripe),Stéphane Richard (CEO Orange), Jean-Laurent Bonnafé (CEO BNP Paribas), and many more.
Blippar, Blablacar, Hootsuite, ironSource, Mindmaze, Quanergy Systems, Shopclues, Okta, Skyscanner, Taboola, will also be speaking at the event to present their latest innovations and predictions for the future
